Creature: Fambaa
Homeworld: Naboo
Height: 5 Metres
Diet: Herbivore
Fambaa are amphibian creatures with reptile skin and are more often found on land more often than not. Fambaas easily knock down trees in the forest to get to berries or leaves - they also forage for under-water plants. The Fambaa often stay in herds of 12. When born, the Fambaa have very moist skin and gills. Upon maturity, the Fambaas gills disappear and their skin becomes hard. The eggs of a Fambaa are stored inside a large puddle or under-water. The Fambaa, due to their size and ability to hold large cargos and cavalry, are more often used as mech units, or cargo holds. These creatures have been used as tools for over a thousand years. Prior to the Battle of Naboo, the Fambaa were used to hold Shield Generators on their back, protecting the soldiers inside. The Fambaa were laid in single file holding one part of the Shield Generator each, in order for it to run. Fambaa can also be seen in the movie Star wars Phantom Menace - as shown in the picture above - the creatures were used as Shield Generators during the Battle of Naboo, laid in single file, holding one part of the Shield Generator on each one for it to run.
